Social Media is Powerful! How are you tapping into it?

Since I have started using Social Media, it feels like the world is right in my home office and I have met some really great business owners who have become my mentors. Also, these networks have allowed me to be up-to-date about the lives and careers of all of my friends, colleagues and industry leaders so much quicker than ever before – which makes them a very powerful tool that can grow any business very quickly.
However, each of the Social Media sites such as Twitter, Linked In and Facebook are powerful in very different ways and every one won’t use them the same way.
1. Twitter is powerful because it gives you the ability to share tips, ideas and resources in less than 140 characters. You would be amazed at how many people have gained temporary joint ventures which turn into on going collaborations to grow their business from only 140 characters.
2. Linked In is powerful because you can connect with like-minded business individuals to improve help you improve your business and career. People are increasing their networks and improving their lives. – Remember, it’s not what you know but who you know.
3. Facebook is powerful because it allows you to connect with new and old friends along with your business associates by learning about the things they are doing, reading, and listening to and allowed me to be in the in crowd by joining my business industry leaders to gain valuable insight for ways to grow my business which has truly worked.
